Counted from their Google reviews up to September 2026. Something shows here once at least 6 patients mention it. Bigger clinics get more reviews, so compare with care. Google’s rating and review total change every day, so we round them down (like 4.5+ stars or 250+ reviews) to stay accurate until our next update. See today’s reviews on Google ↗

Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

What if my insurance is not covered?

We are in network with majority of major insurance companies. Often, the plan name you see is not the same as the insurance carrier. If you don't find your insurance plan name, simply call us at (416) 222-8296 and our team can assist you.

How does dental insurance work?

Dental insurance works similarly to your medical insurance, with the main difference that the Insurance provider is responsible for “First Money Out”, meaning they cover up to a “Maximum Allowable” amount in a given benefit period (usually a year) and the patient is responsible for any amount over that limit. Dental insurance plans typically cover services based on ranges or categories: Preventive, Basic, and Major. As an example, most plan coverages provide 100% coverage for Preventive services, 80% coverage on Basic, and 50% for Major. This breakout is plan-specific and you will need to consult your personal benefits to understand your coverage. What is not covered by your insurance is the patient’s responsibility.

What does my insurance plan cover?

Typically, dental insurance covers all types of dental care ranging from exams and cleanings (typically 2x / year), basic dental care (fillings, crowns, etc.) to oral surgeery and orthodontics. Insurances categorize each type of care into Preventive, Basic, and Major services and each is covered at a determined percentage, leaving the remainng balance to the patient (typical breakouts are 100% / 80% / 50% for the coverage percents). Orthodontics are unique and typically have rules around age, who on your plan is allowed to use, and how much is offered (i.e. there is a lifetime max versus and annual amount).

How many cleanings and exam does my insurance cover_

In most cases, two exams and cleanings in a calendar year.

Are dental implants covered by my insurance?

The answer is it depends. Some plans include implants but many don't. At Wexford Dental, we can find your specific coverage once you complete a free implant consultation.

Does dental insurance cover braces or clear aligners?

In most cases, yes. Orthodontics are unique and typically have rules around age, who on your plan is allowed to use, and how much is offered (i.e. there is a lifetime max versus and annual amount). At Wexford Dental, we can find your specific coverage once you complete a free smile design consultation.

What should I do in the first 24-48 hours after receiving dentures?

Follow any specific instructions provided by your dentist. Keep your dentures in your mouth for the first 24 hours to allow your gums to adjust and heal. Avoid removing and inserting your dentures repeatedly during this initial period. Rinse your mouth with a warm saltwater solution to reduce any discomfort or swelling.

How do I handle any discomfort or sore spots?

It's common to experience some discomfort or sore spots initially as your mouth adjusts to the dentures. If you notice any sore spots, contact your dentist for an adjustment. Avoid attempting to adjust your dentures yourself, as this can cause further problems.
