Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

How do I get to Park Dental from Dufferin Grove?

Head east on Bloor St West toward Christie Pits Park. Our clinic sits directly across from the park, at 745 Bloor St W. You can walk, bike along the Bloor protected bike lane, take the TTC 26 or 63 bus, or ride the subway to Christie Station, which is a short walk east of our door.

Does Park Dental accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

Yes. We are registered with the CDCP and offer direct billing. We also accept the other two government-funded programs: Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). For private insurance, we offer direct billing to most major plans.

Do I need a referral to see a specialist at Park Dental

No. Because our general dentists and specialists share the same building, most patients move between them without a referral letter or a second clinic visit. Your records, scans, and treatment plan stay in one chart.

What are your clinic hours?

Monday – Thursday: 10 AM – 7 PM Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM Saturday: 8 AM – 3 PM Sunday: 9 AM – 3 PM

What is the best age to start orthodontic treatment?

The ideal age for an orthodontic evaluation is around 7, as this is when a child’s permanent teeth start to come in and jaw growth can be easily guided.

What’s the difference between braces and Invisalign?

Both options are effective at straightening teeth and improving bite alignment. Traditional braces are often recommended for more complex cases that require precise control over tooth movement. Invisalign uses clear aligners that are removable and nearly invisible, making them a popular choice for adults and teens.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?

The duration of orthodontic treatment varies depending on how much movement your teeth need and which method is used. On average, most treatments take between 12 and 24 months. Some minor adjustments may be completed in less time, while complex cases may take longer.

Is orthodontic treatment painful?

You may feel mild pressure or soreness after getting braces or switching to a new set of aligners, as your teeth begin to shift into position. This discomfort usually fades within a few days and can be managed with over-the-counter pain relief.
