Had a great experience at Eleven Dental for an emergency toothache. Susie at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Adam, the dental assistant, was professional and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Bassi explained everything clearly and took great care of me. Highly recommend this clinic!

Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

Yes. Eleven Dental accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan. If Sun Life has approved you and your coverage start date has passed, bring your member card to your first visit and we will bill Sun Life directly for the covered portion. The CDCP does not cover every treatment at 100%, so if anything falls outside your coverage we will show you the amount in writing before we begin — not after.

Where are you located, and what are your hours?

We are at 11 Yorkville Avenue in the heart of Yorkville, downtown Toronto — a short walk from Bay Station and Bloor-Yonge. We are open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 9:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The early mornings and late evenings exist so you do not have to take time off work to see a dentist. Our entrance, parking, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. We work by appointment — call (416) 524-1111.

Can I be seen the same day for a dental emergency?

Yes. Emergencies are welcome and we offer same-day appointments, seven days a week. Call (416) 524-1111 for severe tooth pain, a broken or knocked-out tooth, a lost crown or filling, or swelling. Emergencies are triaged ahead of routine appointments. Severe tooth pain is an emergency and should be treated right away — the sooner we see you, the more of the tooth we can usually save. One exception: if you have had facial trauma, or swelling that is affecting your breathing or swallowing, go to a hospital emergency room first. That is beyond what any dental office should be handling.

Do you bill my insurance directly?

Yes. We direct bill to insurance, so you pay only your portion at the end of your appointment instead of paying the full amount and waiting on a reimbursement cheque. Bring your policy and certificate numbers to your first visit and we will handle the submission for you.

What if I don’t have dental insurance?

You may qualify for the CDCP. We can guide you through that process. We also have in-office plans like flexible payment plans, no-interest plans, and discounts for some services.

What does a cleaning and check-up cost?

A new patient visit is an examination, X-rays where they are needed, and a cleaning with one of our hygienists. We charge according to the Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide — the published provincial schedule that most Ontario insurers reimburse against. Your exact fee depends on how much cleaning time you actually need, which is why we quote you before we start rather than surprising you at the desk. Call (416) 524-1111 and we will give you the number for your situation.

How much does Invisalign cost, and how long does it take?

Eleven Dental is a certified Invisalign provider in Toronto. Cost and timeline both depend on how far your teeth actually need to move: minor crowding on the front teeth is a short, lower-cost case, while a full bite correction takes longer and costs more. Because of that, a range quoted on a website is close to meaningless for your mouth. We scan your teeth at a consultation and give you the exact price and the exact number of months before you commit to anything. Straight teeth are not just for kids — we treat children, teens, and adults.

How much is teeth whitening, and how long does it last?

We offer professional teeth whitening, which lifts stains well beyond what a drugstore strip can reach. How long it holds depends mostly on you — coffee, tea, red wine, and smoking pull the shade back down fastest. One thing worth knowing before you book: whitening only lightens natural enamel. It will not change the shade of existing crowns, veneers, or fillings. If you have visible dental work at the front, tell us, and we will plan the shade around it so everything matches when we are done.
