Read bio
DMD, PhD Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Tsang studied Microbiology before she obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia. After successfully completing her dental degree, Dr. Tsang entered a Pediatric Dental Residency Training Program at British Columbia’s Children’s Hospital. She then completed a pediatric dentist specialty training program at the University of California, Los Angeles. During her specialty training, she was also enrolled in a graduate program in the School of Dentistry where she completed her PhD in oral biology. Her PhD thesis was focused on understanding the disease process of cavity-causing bacteria, Streptococcus mutans.
