Lee Family Dentistry - Dr. Janson Lee, Dr. Anika Lee, Dr. John Lee -

Janson joined his father’s practice after completing his BSc and DMD degrees at UBC. His passion for dentistry started after joining a dental mission trip to various rural areas of Mexico and he continues to participate in these missions as a leader and mentor. He stays active in the dental community by joining various study clubs and attending international dental conferences. Outside of dentistry, Janson enjoys staying active both indoors and outdoors so he can try new foods and places to eat with less guilt. He likes many sports, especially hockey, and enjoys driving.

John graduated from UBC Dental School in 1981. He started working as an associate at this location on Broadway right after graduation and has been here ever since. When he is not doing dentistry, he enjoys gardening, hiking, and working out at the gym. Nowadays, being a proud grandfather, he spends a lot of his time looking after 2 young boys. He is grateful for all the wonderful patients that he has served in all these years and for all the amazing staff that he has had the honour of working with. His lifelong dream had come true when his son Janson and daughter Anika graduated from dental school and joined him in his practice. Dr. John Lee has retired from practice as of March 2021 , and leaves his patients in the capable hands of his daughter and son.

After graduating from UBC Dentistry, Anika has joined the practice and is working with her older brother (something her younger self never thought she would do!) and her dad. She has always enjoyed interacting with patients and making sure they feel as comfortable as they can. She is constantly learning and improving on her skills under the mentorship of her family and by attending study clubs. In her spare time she enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, skiing, and making food with friends.
