General Dentist/Owner Dr. Nazemi was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Vancouver at the age of 9. He attended Simon Fraser University for an undergraduate degree in Chemistry before completing his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at UBC. After graduation, Dr. Nazemi worked in Northern Alberta to gain experience and challenge himself with his new profession. Dr. Nazemi enjoys working out, family time, and learning new skills. He has a passion for a healthy lifestyle and embraces that as much as he can while not in the office. Since living in Alberta he has indulged in such hobbies as quad mudding and ice fishing! He’s also put much time into home renovations and carpentry. If he’s not in the dental office or at the gym, he enjoys spending quality time with his two young nephews!

General Dentist Dr. Mona Shoman graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Dental program with Distinction in 2005. Upon completing her diploma, she worked in her hometown Saskatoon for several years under the mentorship of her school instructors. She sharpened her dental skills as well as patient management at that time. She feels incredibly fortunate to have had the guidance and leadership of accomplished dentists to help her in her early years. After approximately five years in the same practice, she left for Alberta where she continued to practice, learn and grow. She discovered her special love for treating children and took extra training in that field. Dr. Shoman sees pediatric dentistry not only as a very important aspect of her work, but an even more important part of a child’s life and relationship to their dentist. General Dentist Dr. Ozlem Sengezer is a General Dentist with more than 15 years of clinical experience in private practice and hospital-based dental care. Internationally trained, she has experience providing a wide range of dental treatments, including endodontic care such as root canal treatment, and takes a careful, detail-oriented approach to patient care. After relocating to Canada, Dr. Sengezer successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada certification process and became licensed to practise dentistry in British Columbia. She is committed to providing patient-focused care and helping patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their treatment. Dr. Sengezer is a member of the British Columbia Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association, and she continues to expand her clinical knowledge through continuing education. General Dentist Dr. Tan completed her dental training in Australia, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-focused care. She moved to Vancouver to be closer to both a vibrant city and the great outdoors – the perfect balance of community and nature. She is fluent in English and Mandarin, and is committed to creating a calm, welcoming environment for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Tan’s approach is gentle, detail-oriented and she tailors herself to provide the best care for her patients. Every Provincially licensed dentist is going to insist on thoroughly sterilizing the tools of his or her trade prior to introducing them to your mouth. Dr. Ezzati and the team at Olympic Village Dental are no exception. We go through a 5-step sterilization process, but before it begins, each and every cassette is wrapped individually, ensuring there is no chance for bacteria or contaminants to enter after sterilization. Following sterilization, the cassette is unwrapped right in front of the patient. We insist on the highest-level of hygiene and cleanliness for both our dental office and the tools we use to maintain patients’ dental health.
