Can a dentist tell if you only brush once a day?
Yes. There are many tell tell signs that develop for patients that do not brush two times per day. Plaque tends to build up around teeth, staining becomes more evident and signs of gingivitis (swollen, bleeding gums) and periodontitis (elongated teeth, shifting teeth and gaps forming). Brushing only once a day often leads to development of cavities as the bacterial begins to build up in your plaque.
