Their FAQ
Answers from their website.
What are dentures?
Dentures are customized replacements for missing teeth. They consist of a frame or plate that holds them in place and can be made out of plastic, porcelain, metal, or acrylic resin.
How much do dentures cost?
Because no two mouths are alike, the cost of dentures will differ from patient to patient depending on their existing oral health and their needs.
Do dentures look natural?
Dentures are made to resemble natural teeth. They can also improve the look of your smile and in some cases, fill out the appearance of your face and profile by making your jaw appear to be more balanced.
How long do dentures last?
If you maintain your dentures, they can last up to 10 years. However, over time our bone, gums and tissue ridges shrink which is something beyond our control. You may need to have your dentures replaced or relined depending on the state of your oral health as you age.If you notice anything out of the ordinary with your dentures such as significant wear and tear, discoloration or a poor fit, contact us immediately and we will see that the issue is fixed.
What are over-dentures?
Over-dentures are a removable denture that is affixed over dental implants. You will only require over-dentures if you have dental implants and some of your natural teeth remain..
What are denture implants?
Simply put, an implant is a root replacement for your teeth. The implant fits in-place of the extracted root and slows down further bone loss. A denture is then attached on top of the implant for a perfect fit and bite.
How long do implants take to heal?
In some cases, a denture can fit on top of an implant immediately after procedure. However, in cases where bone grafting is used, an implant can take several weeks to months to heal before a denture can be fixed on top.
How long to denture implants last?
The average dental implant lasts between 10-15 years. This is determined by the location of the implant, the oral health of the patient and how much wear and tare the tooth experiences.
