Their FAQ

Answers from their website.

How much does professional teeth whitening cost in Hamilton?

The cost varies by treatment type — in-office whitening and custom take-home trays are priced differently. Red Rose Dentistry provides a full cost breakdown at consultation. Cosmetic procedures are generally not covered by CDCP, but coverage is confirmed at your appointment.

How many shades whiter can I expect from professional teeth whitening?

Most patients achieve 4-8 shades of improvement. Results depend on starting shade, severity of staining, and treatment type. Your dentist at Red Rose Dentistry provides a realistic expectation at consultation based on your individual teeth.

Does teeth whitening hurt?

Most patients experience no discomfort. Some notice mild tooth sensitivity for 24-48 hours after treatment, which resolves on its own. Red Rose Dentistry offers desensitizing treatments for patients prone to sensitivity and adjusts the protocol accordingly.

How long does a teeth whitening appointment take?

An in-office whitening session takes approximately 60-90 minutes. For take-home trays, impressions are taken at a brief first appointment and custom trays are ready within a few days. Daily wear time is 30-60 minutes per session over 1-2 weeks.

Will teeth whitening work on crowns, veneers, or dental bonding?

No. Professional whitening only affects natural tooth enamel. Existing crowns, veneers, and composite bonding will not lighten. Red Rose Dentistry will plan the treatment sequence carefully at consultation if you have visible restorations, to ensure a consistent result.

How much do dental implants cost in Hamilton?

A single dental implant in Hamilton typically ranges from $3,000 to $5,500, depending on whether preparatory procedures like extraction or bone grafting are needed. Red Rose Dentistry provides a full itemized cost breakdown at your consultation and accepts CDCP direct billing for eligible patients.

Does the dental implant procedure hurt?

Most patients report far less discomfort than they anticipated. The procedure is performed under local anesthetic. Nitrous oxide and oral sedation are available for patients with dental anxiety. Post-procedure soreness typically resolves within a few days with over-the-counter pain relievers.

How long do dental implants last?

Dental implants routinely last 20-30 years, and the titanium post itself often lasts a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacement after 15-20 years of normal wear, which is a straightforward process.
