Dr. Babak Chehroudi, DMD, PhD, has practiced dentistry since 1982. In 1991 he completed a PhD degree in Oral Biology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is currently a Clinical Professor, and part-time teacher/researcher at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. He takes a particular interest and enjoyment instructing the next generations of dentists. He has been teaching dental anatomy and clinical dentistry for the last 30 years at UBC, instructing both the DMD and post-graduate students. Dr. Chehroudi also has an extensive research background in subjects such as biomaterials, dental implants, and living tissues interactions. His research publications appear in the leading peer-reviewed scientific journals in the areas of dental implants, biomaterials and interactions of cells and tissues with dental materials.
