Meet Dr. James Lipon Dr. James Lipon DDS, FRCD(C) Registered Pediatric Dentist Dr. Lipon graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. He practiced general dentistry for thirteen years in his hometown of Grande Prairie. Dr. Lipon then completed a residency in dental anesthesiology at Lutheran Medical Center, a designated Level I trauma center, in Brooklyn, New York. During his senior year, he served as chief resident. He subsequently completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Lipon is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. He is board-certified in dental anesthesiology and pediatric dentistry in Canada. Meet Dr. Ali Arsalan Dr. Ali Arsalan DDS, MSD, FRCD(C) Registered Pediatric Dentist Dr. Arsalan graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He practiced general dentistry for a few years before directing his focus towards his passion for pediatric dentistry and upgrading his training. Dr. Arsalan then completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. During his residency, he worked and trained at Memorial Hermann Hospital, a designated Level I trauma center, Texas Children’s Hospital and UT Health School of Dentistry. Dr. Arsalan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. He is board-certified in pediatric dentistry in Canada.

Meet Dr. Jordan Van Orman Dr. Jordan Van Orman MD, PhD, FRCPC Anesthesiologist Dr. Jordan Van Orman MD, PhD is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians of Canada trained in anesthesia. He is an assistant professor at the University of Saskatchewan in the College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology. He is registered as a Specialist in Anesthesiology with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Meet Dr. Sheri McKinstry Dr. Sheri McKinstry BSc, Bsc (Dent), DMD, MPH, M.Dent/Dip. Pediatric Dentistry, FRCD(C) Registered Pediatric Dentist Wabishki mitadim ojichidaa ikwe / Dr. McKinstry is Anishinaabekwe from Treaty 1 territory, and proud member of Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba. She is married with four children and is honoured to live and work on Treaty 6 territory. She is an assistant professor in the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. She is looking forward to sharing her professional and personal lived experience with the University of Saskatchewan, especially the College of Dentistry.
