Before graduating with Honours from the dentistry program at the University of Toronto, he completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering at the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. With an engineering mindset, he is keen on learning about new technologies and how they can be used to advance dental techniques and care. He enjoys taking time to talk with patients to understand their goals for dental health and setting a path to achieve them. His gentle chairside manner puts patients at ease. Dentist Dr. Nishita M. Ondhia Dentist Dr. Ondhia holds a B.Sc. Honors in Life Sciences from Queen’s University, a Masters in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Toronto, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has a special interest in preventative dentistry, specifically the correlation between oral health and whole body wellness. Sedation Dentistry Dr. Max Silver Sedation Dentistry Dr. Max Silver, graduated with honors from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. Following this, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton. During his residency, Dr. Silver gained invaluable experience treating medically complex patients and performing advanced procedures such as wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant placement, gum and bone grafts, trauma care, and full-mouth rehabilitation. With a practice limited to oral surgery, Dr. Silver has completed hundreds of hours of advanced training in surgical techniques. He is certified to provide IV moderate sedation and utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including cone beam CT (3D imaging), to deliver high quality care.
