What each clinic offers comes from its own website and Google profile. “Patients say” is counted from Google reviews. Details change, so call to confirm before you go.

Before you call

What to ask, and roughly what it costs, so there are no surprises.

What to say when you call

“Hi, I’m looking for a new dentist near Saskatoon. Are you taking new patients? When’s your first opening for a check-up and cleaning? Do you bill my insurance or the dental care plan directly, and what will I pay?”

Have your insurance or dental care plan details handy. In pain? Say so first, and they may fit you in sooner.

Common questions

How do I know if a Saskatoon dentist is taking new patients?

Call them. Clinics fill up and open up week to week, so the clinic is the only reliable answer. Ask when their first opening for a new-patient exam is, and what it costs.

What if I need a dentist today?

Choose Toothache or emergency, then Open now. Call before you go and ask what the visit will cost. If swelling spreads to your eye or neck, or you have trouble breathing or swallowing, go to an emergency room or call 911.

Does it matter if a Saskatoon clinic belongs to a dental group?

Not for the care itself. Many Saskatoon clinics belong to groups such as DentistryOne and 123Dentist and keep their own local name. It’s worth knowing who you’re dealing with, and a group’s website may list dentists from its other locations.

Can I use the Canadian Dental Care Plan at any dentist?

Only at dentists who take it. Choose Dental care plan above to see clinics that say they do, and ask about any extra cost before treatment. Check if you qualify.

Clinic details come from Google and each clinic’s website, checked September 2026. What care costs · The dental care plan · Where our information comes from · Spot a mistake? Tell us
